Monday the 16th of March 2026 marked the exciting milestone with the inaugural colleague forum taking place in Penrith. Uniting representatives from across the UK, this dynamic platform brought together colleagues to share ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate on shaping the future of the business.

The colleague forum, under the banner of PennyVoice, creates an open and inclusive space where team members across all departments and levels can contribute insights, suggest improvements, and engage in meaningful dialogue with leadership. By encouraging transparent communication and knowledge-sharing, the initiative aims to strengthen collaboration, drive innovation, and ensure every voice is heard.

In this meeting, the PennyVoice Representatives contributed valuable insight across several areas, including business priorities for the year ahead, opportunities to strengthen Health & Safety, updates to the company uniform policy, discussions around reward, benefits, wellbeing and working practices and explored how together we can contribute to our overall business performance.

“Great ideas can come from anywhere in an organisation,” said Tony Jackson, Chief Commercial Officer at Penny on the Move. “The Colleague Forum is about unlocking that potential—giving our people a direct channel to share their perspectives, influence decisions, and play an active role in our continued success.”

The launch reflects Penny on the Move’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of openness, engagement, and continuous improvement. These conversations are essential in supporting Penny to make informed decisions, strengthen operational standards, and ensure that strategies reflect the reality of working in a store. By investing in a forum that supports employee voice, Penny on the Move is reinforcing its belief that collaboration is central to delivering better outcomes for customers and stakeholders alike.

“We’re excited to see how this evolves,” added Tony. “This is more than a platform—it’s a catalyst for positive change driven by our people.”
