International Coffee Day has been established to promote and celebrate coffee as our most beloved beverage. It is also an opportunity to promote sustainable coffee practices and to raise awareness for coffee growers around the world.
This year, the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) is launching a campaign focusing on ‘Coffee’s Next Generation’ – a global initiative targeting young people and entrepreneurs in the coffee sector. The campaign intends to engage the likes of coffee stakeholders, youth organisations, industry leaders, international organisations, financial partners, and coffee consumers, to invest in the youth and benefit the coffee community, and to recover from the pandemic, which negatively impacted both supply and demand.
This October 1st, Penny Petroleum is supporting International Coffee Day to promote coffee drinking by providing customers with 20% off their store-bought coffee (participating stores only).
